The Exchange TRX Honours Tradition and Togetherness with ‘Rimbun Raya’

A lush celebration where nature meets heritage, marking reflection, renewal, and togetherness in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

In celebration of Ramadan and the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri, The Exchange TRX unveils Rimbun Raya, a thoughtfully curated festive campaign that transforms the destination into an immersive expression of heritage, spirituality, and abundance. Running from now till 5 April 2026, the campaign reimagines key spaces across the precinct as a serene, yet vibrant landscape inspired by nature’s beauty and the meaningful transition from Ramadan into Eid.

At the heart of the celebration, Central Exchange is transformed into a contemporary homage to traditional Malay architecture. Graceful arches, balanced symmetry and refined geometric motifs reinterpret cultural craftsmanship through a modern lens. Lush greenery flows throughout the installation, evoking the spirit of ‘rimbun’, a flourishing landscape that symbolises warmth, generosity, and togetherness.

Visitors can look forward to a range of festive weekend performances, including the Cak
Lempong, Silat Dance, Mak Yong, Tarian Rambai and Modern Joget at The Exchange TRX.

Designed to captivate from multiple vantage points, the immersive setting offers striking, shareable moments rooted in tradition yet expressed with a modern sophistication. Guests can also explore exclusive festive offerings at Central Exchange, including beauty showcases by L'Oréal Luxe comprising YSL Beauty, Armani Beauty, and Lancôme, alongside Puras.

The Exchange TRX’s Hari Raya campaign – Rimbun Raya, was officially launched by Trevor
Hill, General Manager, Selwyn Chiu, Assistant Centre Manager, Eza Rahman, Assistant
Centre Manager and Jessica Leong, Head of Marketing at The Exchange TRX on 3 March.

The campaign runs from now until 5 April 2026, transforming Central Exchange into an
immersive expression of heritage, spirituality and abundance.

In line with the campaign’s emphasis on heritage craftsmanship and sustainable creativity, The Exchange TRX is collaborating with Persatuan Seni Jahitan Kreatif Malaysia (PSJK) as part of its CSR initiative. Celebrating Malay textile artistry and traditional workmanship, PSJK will host a dedicated booth at Central Exchange, with proceeds channelled towards its mentorship programme to support and uplift the local crafting community. The collaboration reflects the spirit of Rimbun Raya by nurturing local talent while ensuring traditional skills continue to flourish for future generations.

“This campaign reflects our commitment to honouring Hari Raya through an experience that feels both meaningful and contemporary,” said Trevor Hill, General Manager at The Exchange TRX. “Beyond the immersive décor, our collaboration with PSJK enables us to contribute to the local creative community while celebrating the richness of Malay heritage. Rimbun Raya captures the beauty of the transition from reflection to celebration, creating a welcoming space where families, friends, and communities can come together to mark this special season.”
