Top brands showcase versatility in multiple industries for Superbrands Malaysia 2025 Awards
Superbrands Malaysia 2025
celebrates its 17th edition and showcases 42 brands to pay tribute
to the excellent and most valuable brands in the market in this year’s awards
event.
2025 has seen local
brands making it to the Superbrands list with new entrants in the market as
they strengthen their presence beyond Malaysia’s consumer markets and are fast
becoming internationally recognised brands.
The Superbrands Malaysia
Awards, considered as a key
milestone of achievement by branding in the corporate world, are presented to the winning brands which will be
represented by their chief executive officers, managing directors, marketing
directors and other top marketing and PR executives. The awards are a wonderful
showcase for brands to highlight as well as promote their successes and for
senior executives to get together to celebrate their Superbrands status.
Brands participating in
the Superbrands programme are entitled to use the Superbrands logo on their
advertising, packaging and other marketing communications collaterals. The
brand’s story is also featured in the Superbrands reference book and on the
Superbrands website.
The 2025 awards were
presented at M Resort Bukit Kiara in a memorable and glittering gala evening by
guest of honour, Mr K Haridas, who was Chair of the Business Ethics Institute
of Malaysia (BEIM) and currently President of the Council of Management of the
Association for the Promotion of Higher Education in Malaysia (APHEM), as well as VIP guest Internet personality Mahadir
Mohamed Arifin, or better known as Mahamahu to the social media world, and
special guest MATRADE Senior Director for Strategic Planning, Encik Remee
Yaakub.
Superbrands Malaysia Director Mike
English addressing recipients of the selected 42 brands
Superbrands Malaysia
Director Mike English said: “Tonight we celebrate brilliance and brands that
have earned trust, inspired loyalty and turned ordinary products into
extraordinary stories. A brand begins with belief, and belief is born inside
your own walls long before it reaches the outside world!”
Guest of honour Mr K Haridas,
President of the Council of Management of the Association for the Promotion of
Higher Education in Malaysia (APHEM) congratulating winners of the Superbrands
Malaysia 2025 Awards
Mr
Haridas in congratulating the winners said: “Tonight is not merely a
recognition of successful marketing – it is a tribute to the art and soul of
branding. All your efforts that have gone into conceptualising, testing,
improving and finally giving birth to the brand – a realisation taking effect that
has to be admired and respected.
“Social
media today has given brands both wings and mirrors – wings to soar across
borders and mirrors that reflect every action, good or bad, instantly. This is where ethics,
transparency and sincerity of purpose are increasingly becoming the new pillars
of branding success. The best brands are not those that shout the loudest but
those that speak the truth, act responsibly and listen deeply,” said Mr
Haridas.
Mike
English said: “Tonight, as we celebrate the best of
branding, let’s remember that the greatest campaigns in the world cannot save a
brand that its own people do not believe in.
“But when your team becomes your loudest cheerleaders, your most passionate advocates, your living and breathing proof – then your brand doesn’t just live in the marketplace. It lives in hearts.”
Mr Haridas said: “I would like to outline six critical factors for consideration that could assist new brands to evolve and endure:
- define your purpose
- be authentic
- deliver consistently
- listen to what your audience wants
- embrace technology and innovation yet maintain your human touch and
- build integrity into your DNA and create reputation that lasts.”
