The Ground Floor Atrium has transformed into a lush sanctuary, inspired by Malaysia’s vibrant greenery where melodies of traditional instruments such as Gamelan and Angklung create an enchanting atmosphere. This immersive setting invites visitors to experience the essence of togetherness, gratitude, and giving - bringing to life the true meaning of Raya. Shoppers can enjoy captivating cultural Malay performances that add a rhythmic charm to the festivities.


Adding a meaningful touch to the celebration, Intermark Mall proudly continues its partnership with renowned fashion designer Carven Ong, breathing new life into donated fabrics collected from the previous Vintage Lunar Splendour celebration. These pre-loved textiles will be meticulously upcycled into timeless, eco-friendly bags, seamlessly blending style with sustainability. These thoughtfully crafted bags will be sold at the retail market throughout the month, with proceeds supporting environmental conservation and underprivileged communities.

In championing heritage and sustainability, Intermark Mall also partners with Yayasan Tuanku Nur Zahirah to raise awareness and appreciation for the intricate art of songket weaving. A traditional weaving loom will be set up to offer live weaving demonstrations and hands-on experiential classes led by professional weavers, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in this centuries-old craft. Visitors are encouraged to acquire these exquisite songket pieces as meaningful keepsakes or gifts, with each purchase directly supporting the livelihood of traditional weavers and ensuring the preservation of this precious Malaysian heritage. These one-of-a-kind handcrafted treasures will be available for purchase throughout the celebration period.

If you love steam fish, this place is for you! Located at the other end of the mamak (nearby Seventeen Mall), this place is a hit especially for those who love healthy and simple food.  Mom and dad first discovered this place and finally took me here for dinner one day and I fell in love with its simple dishes. Address: 1270-1271, Jalan 17/31, Seksyen 17, 46400 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Their menu is not fancy with many choices but good enough for a decent healthy dinner. They open as early as 5pm. Be there early to beat the hungry crowd.  My recommendation would be their Steamed Leopard Coral Goruper and Steamed Dragon Goruper. Sometimes these fish can go out of stock if you go too late. My first visit was at 8.30pm. It was still crowded but not that much as compared to my second visit at 7.30pm on another day. I had to walk off cause there were just too many tables unfed. Baan Thai 2 Seafood Restaurant at Kuchai Lama

Not Halal I recently discovered a new place to dine authentic Thai Food at Jalan Kuchai Lama when my mom's friend took her to celebrate her birthday this year. This is their second outlet and it's only 3 months old. Their first outlet, Baan Thai is located in Cheras. It was indeed an eye opener. Upon stepping in the restaurant, I was dumbfounded! The size of the restaurant was huge and there was massive space.
