Guest of honour, Datuk P. Kamalanathan,  Chairman of Public Relations Practitioners Society of Malaysia officiated the glittering gala evening with the presentation of awards to the winners.

The awards were presented in a glittering gala evening by guest of honour, Datuk P. Kamalanathan, Chairman of Public Relations Practitioners Society of Malaysia and former Deputy Education Minister, as well as VIP online personality Auntie Purple, who started off as a lifestyle video content creator and since established herself further with a self biography, own range of perfumes plus as a role model for women being featured on TV programmes and nominated Creator of the Year on Tiktok Awards and Astro Gempak Most Wanted 2023.

Datuk Kamalanathan, in congratulating the winners said: “Branding is akin to finding the right positioning inside the consumer’s mind and going for it before someone else does so. And so bear in mind that products are made in a factory, but brands are created in the mind. And you are here today because that is what you have achieved!

“In our own country, Malaysian made products have been growing from strength to strength to the extent that many local brands have created their own positive reputation. Through their own efforts, they have proven that they too deserve to stand among equals or have become even more superior options than the older and traditional brands,” he added.
