KEPCI Music Fest captured the heart of Malaysian Music Lovers
KEPCI Music Fest Strikes a Resounding Chord in Shah Alam: A Harmonious Celebration of KFC's Golden Jubilee
The city of Shah Alam reverberated with music, merriment, and
culinary delights as the much-anticipated KEPCI Music Fest made its triumphant
debut at the Melawati Indoor Stadium on Saturday, August 26, 2023. In
conjunction with KFC's grand 50th-anniversary celebration, the festival
delivered an unforgettable experience that united Malaysians through music,
culture, and, of course, finger-lickin' good food.
The KEPCI Music Fest, a brainchild of KFC's commitment to fostering community and celebrating the nation's rich heritage, brought together legendary musicians and talented local artists to create a musical tapestry that resonated with the hearts of thousands in attendance.
The festival's stage was graced by music luminaries such as Dato'
Sri Siti Nurhaliza, Amy Search, Misha Omar, and the electrifying Budak Nakal
Hujung Simpang, among other home-grown talents. Their performances ignited the
crowd, leaving them spellbound and yearning for more.
The event was made even more special by the presence of the Prime
Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his wife Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail
who were enthralled by the impressive artist line-up.
Dato' Sri Siti Nurhaliza commented on her
experience, saying, "KEPCI Music Fest was a magical evening where the
power of music brought us all together, transcending boundaries and creating
unforgettable memories."
KEPCI Music Fest was a full-fledged
celebration of Malaysia's culture, community, and unity. Attendees were treated
to a spectrum of enjoyable activities, immersive cultural performances, and, of
course, mouth-watering KFC delights. It was a fusion of joy, nostalgia, and
culinary satisfaction that marked 50 years of cherished memories with KFC. The
concert sold out, with the Melawati Indoor Stadium pulsating with the energy of
music enthusiasts. The concert received rave reviews from attendees and media
alike, with many praising the festival's unique blend of music, culture, and of
course, KFC.
Datuk Amy Search, another legendary
performer, shared his thoughts: "KEPCI Music Fest was not just about the
music; it was about the unity and love we have for this nation, and the
delicious KFC made it all the more special."
Nehchal Khanna, QSR Brands CEO, reiterated the festival's
significance, saying, "As we celebrate our 50th year of serving up
Malaysia’s well-loved dishes, we are reminded that KFC's success is not just
about the food, but the enduring love and loyalty of our incredible Malaysian
family. KEPCI Music Fest was our way of saying 'thank you,' and we look forward
to many more years of delighting your taste buds and sharing in your special
moments."
As the applause fades and the echoes of music linger, KEPCI Music
Fest promises that this is just the beginning of a series of exciting events to
come. Stay tuned for more thrilling experiences that celebrate the heart and
soul of Malaysia. Join us at our next two concerts at KDCA, Sabah on 6 October
