“We are thrilled with the grand opening of Paris Baguette store in Malaysia and to be the principal operator of the brand locally. We are also honoured to be given the opportunity to bring the unparalleled world-famous offerings from Paris Baguette to the Malaysian market. With the opening of the first store, Malaysians can anticipate more stores to be opened in cities across the country,” said Dato’ Sydney, Group Chief Executive Officer of Berjaya Food Berhad.

Some of the treats at Paris Baguette.  A familiar sight for those who travel frequently.

The origins of Paris Baguette were formed in 1945, in the heart of a small bakery in South Korea named Sangmidang. Continuing the legacy, Paris Baguette until today embraces the spirit of Sangmidang, which is to not leave a single piece of bread unchecked- signifying utmost quality in its products and services.

“We are pleased to partner with Berjaya Food to bring Paris Baguette to Malaysians. Together with Berjaya Food, we aim to serve best quality products like my favourite strawberry yoghurt cake and Korean jumbo crispy twist donut, coupled with the best-in-class service and deliver happiness in every bite to our customers. This partnership allows us to further increase our presence in the Southeast Asia market”, said Ms. Hana Lee, CEO of Paris Baguette, Southeast Asia.

Customers are now able to experience a unique offering of European-inspired pastries, breads, cakes, hot foods, and desserts, including the Signature Mushroom Soup in Bread Bowl, Signature Natural Yeast Bread, Fresh Yogurt Cream Cake, Mr & Ms Bear Madelaine, No. 1 Cheese Tart, Macarons, and Cranberry Chicken Pastry Wrap Sandwich – all freshly prepared daily using premium and quality ingredients.

I am drooling already with all these yummy treats!

Paris Baguette Bakery Café is the leading bakery café chain in South Korea, founded in 1988 with over 4,000 stores worldwide. Customers are welcomed to visit the KL store to experience the latest addition to the family and enjoy the taste of the signature products and other bakery delights.
