Cool Hero Float special tribute to frontliners

Campaign to raise funds for PPE for NKF frontliners

INNOVATORS Carpe Ri Sdn Bhd has joined hands with the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) on a campaign to help provide Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) for their frontliners.
Carpe Ri co-founder Danieul Mudali said they will also take this opportunity to use their patent-pending process “to create the coolest-ever tribute to frontliners”.

The Hero Float will be available at Sunway Pyramid from July 6, 2020.  Visitors can enjoy the float until July 12, and at the same time honour their heroes. The Hero Float is not for sale and people can donate as they wish.

Besides being delicious and good-looking, the halal Hero Float is eco-friendly and contains healthy soluble fibre and pre-biotics.

“We drew inspiration for the Hero Float from the passion, dedication and selflessness exhibited by frontliners,” said Danieul. “Our innovation carries colours brilliantly. Combine it with appropriate ingredients and it can communicate a positive frontliner backstory.”

“It will help create an awareness and boost NKF’s volunteer base besides raising funds. Any donations of medical supplies for our frontliners is very timely,” he added.

Social Grooves’ CEO Christopher Tock said he was delighted to contribute to the campaign as it was to honour frontliners and to raise funds for the National Kidney Foundation (NKF).

“Since the new normal, we have seen a surge on time spent on social media and thought the campaign would be an effective way to rally Malaysians to honour and thank the frontliners,” said Christopher.

Popular celebrity Vince Chong who lent his support at the launch of Hero Float, said: “The frontliners during this pandemic are truly the caregivers as the NKF has been providing essential health facilities, including to dialysis patients at its centres as well as other services throughout the various stages of MCO.
Vince Chong was also part of the launch campaign.
“They have gone above and beyond in their professional and personal capacities. We are calling on all Malaysians to please step up and support this campaign to show your appreciation to them,” he said.
Carpe Ri Co-founder Joon Tan also heads the Nasi Goreng 100 project which brought together volunteers to provide food aid to the needy during the MCO.
