Tasty Australia Showcase at Isetan KLCC (30 Aug - 11 Sept 2019)
Come on over to Isetan KLCC between 30th August to 11th September for Tasty Australia's 2019 showcase, featuring the best of Regional Australian food and beverages. Fire up your taste buds and embark on a culinary journey with a total of 12 new brands and more than 80 products at this Food Festival apart from The Model Cook's traditional best selling 25 brands from South Australia. This is the first major showcase of Regional Australian food primarily from South Australia and Western Australia. Proudly presented by The Model Cook in collaboration with Isetan Malaysia, it is the sixth year of this annual Tasty Australia food festival in Kuala Lumpur.
Tasty Australia 2019 continues to highlight green and clean eating with an emphasis on sustainability and a conscious choice of GMO-free food. From 30 August to 4 September, 7 founders of the new brands will be present to meet and greet Isetan customers to share their brand story.

Australia is a significant source country for food and beverage offered at Isetan Malaysia, taking into account the clean, green and safe environment for their food production and responsible farming practices.
The Isetan Food Market will be bustling with activities during Tasty Australia. There will be an eye catching Popcorn Fountain and mascot appearance too!
In celebration of this food festival, there will be lucky draws with prizes consisting of RM500 gift vouchers, food hampers and Australian souvenir giveaways with purchases.
Shoppers
will be delighted with the value buys of certain Australian food and beverage
products especially during the one-hour extra special buys -- “Meet the Makers”
hour. They may also eat in at the Australian Gourmet pop-up restaurant from
11am to 9.30pm.

Johnny's Popcorn Delight from South Australia.
Using Australian premium corn, this wholegrain
popcorn has more fibre and protein than a lot of other snack foods, making it a
healthy snack for kids and adults to enjoy as part of a balanced diet. It’s
gluten-free and GMO-free and produced in a nut-free facility.
The popcorn is traditionally made, kettle cooked
where the flavours are cooked as the popcorn pops which caramelises the sugar,
producing a sweet, crunchy shell and bagged straight away for freshness.
They have seven different flavours in Australia. And two interesting flavours were brought in for this showcase, namely Caramel and Sweet and Salty. The Sweet and Salty is kind of interesting because I have not tasted anything like that before and it's pretty addictive you know once you take your first bite. You just want more!
