Friendship That Lasts Forever.

That's What Friends Are For

It is a holiday today (15th Oct 2013) and we, good friends got together for lunch at the new COLISEUM near Jaya 33 to celebrate the birthdays & belated birthdays of 4 four friends.

We have all known each other since primary & secondary school days and we never stopped doing lunches or dinners aka reunions during each other's birthdays. We still make time for one another despite everyone's busy schedule not to mention some who already have kids now. I thank them from the bottom of my heart and cherish each and every one of them. You guys rock.

Here's one for the initial group members. We call ourselves "THE GANG"
From Left to Right: Choy Peng, Young Ling, Woan Chyi, Win Son, Kok Wai.
Each of us share a unique relationship. Some were classmates since primary school and secondary schools. Others were pen pals.

Here's a picture of us that was taken almost 16 years ago at A&W.
Aaahhhh...those were the days......

THEN & NOW.
Seated in the same arranged position. This is how we are now. Friendship bond still strong as before. And all are successful people in their own ways.

And a group shot of how the group has grown with more friends and extended friends and family members.

Slowly the group grew from 5 to about 10 when new friends joined the group. It blossomed overtime to what has become a strong bond of long lasting friendship that I believe will last a lifetime. I am so glad I have you guys.

We do not meet as often as before as now most of them have started families and do not have that kind of privilege of time. Netherless, we still make it a point to meet up every now and then for a reason to celebrate. Be it birthdays or full moon parties.

It was a picture perfect moment & this blog entry I am writing today celebrates the FRIENDSHIP among us.

Guys, if you're reading this, I would like to dedicate this song to u. That's What Friends Are For

The group catching up with one another. We booked a super long table or 11pax (plus kids of course)

The food was good and the ambience brought back some nostalgic feel. Coliseum's very first outlet in KL was famous since my grandfather's time. Even our first PM ate there.
Here's a sneak peak on some of the dishes we ordered.

The famous baked crab and Hainanese Chicken Chop.
It was an excellent choice!

The Roast Chicken & ham was not too bad either. Tender & juicy.

Back to more photo time with the kids & friends.

Sampai pinjam friend's kids to take picture. LOL.

Ah ah ah ah....Staying Alive Pose.

My BFF gave me my belated birthday gift....yeah...2 months belated...So sweet of her!

Hui Ling also got a gift from the ever generous Ms Young.

With all the picture taking commotion, another friend whom we have not seen for ages walked by to say hello to us! What a pleasant surprise to see another ex-classmate, Chan Wah!

We 'tangkap' him for another group shot with all his ex-school mates. It was like "a SEA PARK-ian reunion" he said. I left the school after only one year (transferred to SMDU). But met so many great friends there which lasted till now! And yes, I still know how to sing the school's national anthem!

Chapter closes with a fun & fulfilling day out today.
