Mix, the new snacking haven

I am so excited to share a new place I discovered recently which opened its doors in SS2 in the last few weeks. 

Psst...I didn't even know this shop existed until they open in my neighbourhood! 

It's a snacking haven with snacks from Thailand, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Japan and Korea all in one place! You don't even have to travel to these countries to get your hands on these snacks.  I have been to a few of these kind of shops in Malaysia but I find this place simply awesome because some of the unique snacks are not found in other Japanese or Korean Convenience store. It certainly lives up to the expectations (and their brand name, MIX) with a great MIX of famous snacks from around these countries.

Here's why!

The mother of all Kit Kats! I have been looking all over Malaysia for this! Sake flavoured Kit Kat which is not easily found in most Japanese Snack Convenience stores in Malaysia. I have been to the Japanese snack convenient outlets in Tropicana City Mall, Damen and even Tokyo Street, Pavilion and this was not even sold there. The common ones I have seen are green tea. Talk about being different!

The other highly recommended snack (more like a biscuit) from Japan is this! This is rather famous and tastes great! A must buy and a must try too! Tak payah lah terbang ke Jepun pun boleh rasa sekarang.  Another great product is the Kororo UHA Japanese Gummy Candy. It pops in your mouth and I just love to roll it in my mouth. The common flavours found here is the muscat (green grape) and it's hard to find the Melon flavoured ones in Malaysia. I have been hunting high and low for this brand. Last I saw Family Mart carried this brand but it was all sold out. The promo price of the Muscat variant is unbelievable at less than RM6  a pack! Other places I have seen it sells between RM7-8. A great place to stock up your snacks and at the same time try something new.

I even bought the rose peach candy which i find rather interesting.

I also raided their fridge for some cute looking drinks.

My gf recommended these coffee from Taiwan. Tastes good. Not too sweet.

These are just mineral water but their bottle is so captivating. More interesting drinks from other countries. You may recognise some of these if you travel a lot!
