Last weekend was a very meaningful weekend for me and my mom. We were both invited to Yezi at The Roof, to be a part of the launch of Yezi's charity drive with the Kiwanis Club of Pantai KL in conjunction with International Parents' Day.

Yezi at The Roof is a premium steamboat restaurant which offers a unique coconut-based broth steamboat at First Avenue, Bandar Utama. And this CSR effort sees the caring side of this company giving back to the community.

Movies To Anticipate (Sept - Dec 2015)

Hello lovelies! Siapa di sini movie buffs?
Here's an update for all you movie fanatics out there.
Movies that are coming your way from Sept and Dec 2015 that will hitting the BIG SCREEN in the end of 2015.

Sept 2015

1) The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (In cinemas 17th Sept 2015 onwards)
This is the sequel to "The Maze Runner" and the adaptation of James Dashner's second book in the series, following Thomas and the other Gladers as they have escaped the maze and put into a dormitory where they face new threats.

2) Hotel Transylvania 2 (24th Sept 2015 onwards)

I love the humour in this cartoon. Watch the trailer and I'm sure you will love it too.

Oct 2015

3) Frankenstein (In cinemas 1st Oct 2015 onwards)

This one is not a cartoon.
James McAvoy is Viktor Von Frankenstein and Daniel Radcliffe stars as Igor in a unique, never-before-seen twist on Mary Shelly's classic 19th century novel. Told from Igor's perspective, we see the troubled young assistant's dark origins, his redemptive friendship with the young medical student Viktor Von Frankenstein and become eyewitnesses to the emergence of how Frankenstein became the man and legend as we know today.

Nov 2015

4) Bond 24 (In cinemas 5th Nov 2015 onwards)

Daniel Craig returns as James Bond for the 24th Bond instalment.
Watch him in action.

5) The Hunger Games : Mocking Jay Part 2   (19th Nov 2015 onwards)

In Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2, we follow heroine Katniss Everdeen's journey as she leads the districts of Panem in a rebellion against the tyrannical and corrupt Capitol. As the war that will determine the fate of Panem escalates, Katniss must decipher for herself who she can trust and what needs to be done, with everything she cares for in the balance.

6) Jem and the Holograms  (In cinemas 26th Nov 2015 onwards)

I was an 80's kid and I grew up with this cartoon. Only now they are remaking it in flesh and blood. I am so looking forward for this movie but reviews so far have not been promising with the lack of Misfits' presence and a not-so-strong plot. Either way I'm gonna watch it and bring back some childhood memories. Any fans of Jem here? Raise your hands!

This show is about Jem, the musical superstar alter ego of a young woman called Jerrica Benton who, with the help of a holographic computer called Synergy, is able to perform rock concerts with her friends.

Dec 2015

7) Star Wars: Episode VII (In cinemas 17th Dec 2015 onwards)

Star Wars: Episode VII will be set 30 years after the events of "Return of the Jedi."

8) Kung Fu Panda 3 (In cinemas 24th Dec 2015 onwards)

Continuing his legendary adventures of awesomeness, Po must face two hugely epic, but very different threats. One supernatural and the other a little closer to home.

9) Mission Impossible 5: Rogue Nation (In cinemas 24th Dec 2015 onwards)

Super looking forward to catch Tom Cruise in action. One of my all time action packed movie. What a hunk! Mouth drooling at his toned body already. The Mission Impossible is one of the most successful action franchises of all time. Another Ethan Hunt adventure is in the works.

10) Alvin & The Chipmunks 4 : the Road Chip  (In cinemas 31st Dec 2015 onwards)

Adorable Chipmunks invading the cinemas Christmas week!

Hope you all had a glimpse of what's coming in to the cinemas soon. Grab those popcorns!

My recent business trip to Ipoh brings me to WEIL HOTEL which is Ipoh's latest hotel newly opened barely 6 months. With a total of 254 rooms, this four star hotel is simply great in every way. Connected to Ipoh Parade for those who loves shopping and located right opposite the famous Sam Tet School the location is just so strategic.

Allow me to take you on a tour in one of their Superior Rooms. Priced at RM290 net per night (Promotional Rates) inclusive of breakfast, this hotel screams modern contemporary living with their simplistic yet luxurious feel.
The bed I had was a KING size bed. I could toss and turn forever!
The neat toilets with wooden feel. The bathroom offers a peek-a-boo experience, but with binds that you can close if you want privacy.

It comes with a nice tub and equipped with toiletries mounted to the wall of the shower.
Bring your bath salt the when you come for a great relaxing soak in then tub.

Here's the room tour video.

So enough of the room...let's go outside and get some sunshine.

There is a nice open area garden with lots of open spaces. This is located at the R Floor.
Whenever I stay at a hotel, I love to explore its surroundings and I never miss the opportunity for a good swim at the hotel's pool.
Here's the view from the top of the hotel. Let's take a look at the swimming pool!
Yay! I can't wait to jump in.

Colourful Benches in tones of reds and blues add some "playfulness" into the surroundings.
And their pool towels are in bright yellow! I feel so chirpy and fun already.

It's an infinity pool with a view overlooking the hills. You should be here at sunset.
It's beautiful.

The lift to the different floors of the hotel. Still under development is the concept floor which I just can't wait to see. Too bad it's not open yet.

Weddings are pretty famous here too.

Here's a look at their tea lounge with modern contemporary finishing.

My welcome drink
Weil Hotel houses a few famous restaurants too.

A quick look at the hotel's lobby and the reception area.
Modern classy furniture at the lobby area. A great place for business talks.
This was where I had my breakfast. A spacious set up.

This hotel is just right next to Ipoh Parade. Talk about convenience.
