A sneak peak at Jalan Jalan Japan M3 Mall Taman Melati
I know many of you must be suuuupppppeeeer excited as I am for the long awaited opening of Jalan Jalan Japan at M3 Mall at Taman Melati, the latest addition to Jalan Jalan Japan's strings of outlets.
The M3 Mall outlet is in fact their 4th branch and will be officially opening its doors to customers on the 18th of May 2019, at 10.00am.
So hold your horses as currently they are not open yet. A few weeks ago, I was invited for a sneak peak before their official opening. Come on! Let's take a look what's in the store!

Here is the concept behind Jalan Jalan Japan's preloved superstores.
Japan is a rich nation where people are able to earn high income. But the Japanese is lack of personal storage space. This make it necessary for them to sell fairly new stuff at ‘Preloved’ stores.
When young people sell their clothing, it is not because they need the cash, but to make way for new clothes coming into their wardrobe. With limited storage, every season young people may change their wardrobe once and for the fashion conscious, twice a season. That makes for lots of Preloved goods.
The preloved concept has become an integral part of the Japanese culture and they tend to be in good condition. Some are even still like new!
JJJ's HIGH SPIRITED STAFF
Jalan Jalan Japan's staff are all in high spirits, friendly and eager to serve their customers. They are young and enthusiastic.
JJJ now has 4 superstores and they never run out of stocks. Here is why. The secret is this! They have a huge warehouse to house all these shipment!!!!
They prepared 10 containers of stocks in their warehouse which makes 40 times delivery with more than 500,000 items. That's why stocks are aplenty!

Branded Goods are organized neatly in glass casings.
A closer look reveals brands like Anello, Tommy Hilfiger, Kipling, Burberry....etc

You will never know what you will find. The secret to a great hunt is TAKE YOUR TIME.
One of my all time favourite must buys at Jalan Jalan Japan are their Kimonos. I love these short ones as I can wear them casually anywhere. Yup! I actually bought these 2 pieces! It's only RM40 each. I love the detailing and I do appreciate Japanese art!
Other great finds include Coleman Cooler Box priced at RM60 only.
Toys, shoes and the list goes on...
Bags, clothes, winter wear...you name it, they've got it!
Even tennis rackets and surf boards! Yes, and I'm not joking! See for yourselves!

Here are my haul from JJJ at the end of the day.
I got this jacket for RM20 only and it's from Universal Studios Japan. Wooohoooo! I love all things colourful hence I was attracted to this. Tried it on and it fits!
